Come along and help create a podocarp stronghold at the south end of the park. The aim is to plant a thousand podocarps - Rimu, Totara, Kahikatea, Matai and Miro - in the hectare of retired farmland between the bottom of Leaping Lizard and Karori Stream.

Planting goes from 10am to 12:30pm each Saturday through to the 8th August. Tools and planting tips provided. No experience necessary.
