Bail Out track exit
The exit for Bail Out is next to 300 South Karori Road, which is near the end of the road.
Bus
Bus is a great way to get to Mākara Peak. Check out Metlink for the latest timetable and route information. The main bus to Karori is 2 The Green Route (Lyall Bay – Wellington – Karori). The bus terminates at the intersection of Karori Road and South Karori Road, which is only 1km from the main entrance on South Karori Road.
Alternatively continue along Karori Road (which becomes Allington Road) and take the second left onto Saint Albans Avenue. At the end of the street you will find an entrance to the park.
